Ernie Messer is an associate at Cass CCE and was visiting lecturer for the ‘Managing change in the 21st century’ module of the Cass MSc in Management programme. He runs a specialist consultancy helping businesses in Civil Society to grow and realise their potential - particularly through Collaboration.
Ernie has a wide-ranging general management career leading and managing major change and project portfolios and is skilled in successfully managing the people aspects of mergers, acquisitions and outsourcing.
His work has included assignments in India, Egypt, Canada and the USA. Current work includes some innovative new Collaboratives and working with leading experts in Cass Centre for Charity Effectiveness preparing a unique offer for NfP's as "Trusted Adviser" for Collaborations and Mergers.
He has first hand experience of a range of collaborative projects and helped to set up - 3SC - as interim HR Director.
