I am the events assistant at the Mentoring and Befriending Foundation. We are a national organisation which aims to ensure that mentoring and befriending are at the centre of current and future national volunteering strategies.
We do this in a number of ways including running a National Training Programme for mentoring and befriending programme coordinators and awarding the Approved Provider Standard, the only quality standard which is directly aimed at mentoring and befriending schemes.
