I starting working within the third sector in June 2008 following almost a decade working within Higher Education.

I currently work as Development Officer, Communications for CDX (the Community Development Exchange), following almost two years as a member of NAVCA's Policy & Communications Team. I am particularly interested in the development of social media and how it can hlp communities.

When not working I've usually got my nose stuck in a book - particularly if on a train (I commute from Derby to Sheffield every day). I have slightly ecclectic musical taste and love watching a good film. I'm an avid Derby County supporter and a bit of a geek.
