Subject: Want to start a non-profit/charity
This is where it all started.
I am 13 and last March I was diagnosed with an extremely rare blood disorder which is unheard of.
I'd very much like to raise money for mine and other blood disorders and/or cancer in children but don't know where to start. I would just raise money for an existing charity but there isn't a specific one I could raise money for, which is why I'd like to start my own.
If anyone could help or you need more information I'd be very grateful

Have you looked at the Charity Commission website: www.charitycommission.gov.uk.
This has a database of all the charities in England and Wales so you could see if there are charities already doing work which you would like to support. This website also has free guidance you can download on how to start a charity.
Another website which might be useful is www.guidestar.org.uk. This also has a database of charities.
