Recently I have been playing around with QR codes (or two-dimensional codes) and I am interested to hear about different ways charities have been using these in campaigns?

I would love to hear feedback on whether using a QR code resulted in many new visitors? I am also interested in hearing what QR code generators people prefer to use. I have used www.qrstuff.com but you have to pay to receive analytics.

Thanks,

@damienclarkson

I plan to use bit.ly to produce my QR code as analytics are free. Will be putting on bus cards for next print run, to test.

Thanks Beth, If anyone want to use generate a QR code using Bit.ly. You just generate the bit.ly code as normal then you need to add .qr on the end of the bit.ly link and paste into a new browser, you will then have your QR code. For more information see this post on mashable

For those who don't know what QR codes are, here is a helpful guide to QR codes from wikipedia. Article includes some interesting uses. None from charities yet though....
