Oxfam. Nike. Tesco. Unicef. Kylie. RSPCA - all massive brands, all instantly recognisable.

But in the world of branding, image and reputation, nothing happens by accident. These names became so big because they were meticulously planned, carefully crafted and jealously protected.

Charities have the power, the collateral and the audience to make their brand and image work hard in everything from lobbying politicians and changing public opinion, to engaging corporates and raising funds.

Getting it right can mean the difference between being just another charity, and being a household name. Even more importantly, you don’t have to have Nike’s budget to have their size of brand.
