Capital Clean-Up Carnival

The 2010 Capital Clean-up Campaign shall be launched on the 15th of May with a waste and recycling themed family-event carnival! Come join us for this fun filled event! In addition to a special celebrity guest, soon to be revealed, there will be: Solar powered music stage with local bands Interactive workshop zone with recycled sculptures and gardens Food stalls including Indian, Caribbean, Cakes and Pastries Competitions and prizes Drumming parades, children’s entertainers and dancing The Capital Clean-Up Carnival will take place in Graham Street Park in Islington, which neighbours City Road Basin and Regents Canal. The event will be wheelchair accessible, and BSL sign language interpreters and induction loops will be available.
