This event is aimed at those who have responsibility for managing their organisation’s energy use and/or environmental performance. This might include energy/utility managers and environmental managers. |
This new event explores the background behind carbon footprinting and the methodologies that exist in order to calculate a carbon footprint for an organisation. It explains the difference between carbon footprinting and eco footprinting. It looks at the data required for the calculation, how to set objectives and targets using carbon footprinting data, how to reduce an organisation’s carbon footprint through behavioural change and technology, and may touch on relevant legislation.
Case studies will be used to enable you to experience calculating carbon footprints. The event will also cover the support available to organisations wishing to reduce their carbon footprint, including grants and funding.
