Food growing has not been this popular since the Second World War, yet many people have lost the essential gardening skills and confidence to do so. This event will inspire you with a host of ideas for getting your local community growing their own, from garden-share schemes to gardening gurus, from seed swapping events to gardeners’™ question time. It will also outline how to set up a food growing project on under used public land, for example a community orchard or mini allotment plots. This event will be of interest to local authority or voluntary sector officers and community leaders who want to explore different ways of getting local communities growing food.
Refreshments and a light buffet lunch will be provided within the course fee.

- Voluntary organisations £110 + VAT
- Local authorities, statutory organisations and other non-voluntary £165 + VAT.
