Women’s Organisations are facing an uncertain future as funders and decision makers increasingly marginalise women-only services. Organisations need to think seriously about finding ways to diversify income. This seminar will look at how you can make your organisation more financially stable by engaging with alternative funding options.

This borough specific seminar is tailored to address your needs as women’s organisations and will include:

  • Advice from local commissioners
    Learn how the commissioning process works in your borough from the commissioners themselves, including guidance on how to get involved
  • Presentations by experts
    Social enterprise, income from individuals and partnership working –how you can make them work for your organisation
  • Question time
    Raise your specific questions and concerns face to face with the experts and commissioners
  • Influencing local commissioners
    Top tips on how to ensure your local commissioning process gives women’s organisations a fair chance and making sure your voice is heard
  • Networking
    Meet other women’s organisations working in your area. An opportunity to share your work, issues and experiences and talk about ho you may be able to work together
