You probably know that you ought to be combining email, Facebook, Twitter etc with email to get the most out of them, but aren't sure how to. This course will help you get started and, we hope, inspire you to take it further.

Focusing on one email marketing tool (Mailchimp.com) which we have used for a year, Howard Lake's afternoon course will show you:

  • the basics: are you and your colleagues using existing email messages to support and grow your social media presences?

  • how to include links in your email newsletters or alerts to your social media presences on Facebook, Twitter etc

  • how to save time by announcing your email newsletters to your Twitter followers

  • how to get new email subscribers to promote your newsletter to their followers and friends

  • how to measure the results of this work in terms of new sign-ups

  • how to find out how many of your email newsletters follow you on Twitter, which are your more responsive and influential subscribers, and many other statistics.

Howard will also include other practical tips to help you get the most out of the tool.
