Understand the fundamentals of good absence management with this half-day event for infrastructure organisations, delivered by Acas.

This session will cover

  • the benefits of managing absence effectively in the workplace
  • why measuring absence is important
  • best practice in handling short and long term sickness
  • how to manage your return to work process
  • absence management developments such as the new ‘fit note’
  • the view of Employment Tribunals with regards to handling absence.

The session will feature case study exercises and the opportunity to ask your questions.

While the event is free to attend, preference is given to voluntary sector infrastructure organisations and numbers are limited.
