Charities increasingly need to demonstrate and communicate the impact of their work. With so many charities vying for grants, donations, volunteers and publicity, how can you show your organisation is making a difference? That it is unique? That you spend your income wisely? That you engage with your community? That you’re fit for the future? This one-day conference offers a powerful combination of knowledge, skills and approaches to help you choose the most effective methods to measure and convey your impact.

Topics

Demonstrate how your charity’s work meets its priorities
Collect evidence on the results you achieve
Bring results information to life using case studies
Communicate your impact to different audiences
Use measurement to improve your campaigns
Build monitoring and evaluation capacity
Develop more appropriate reporting, including self-evaluation
Make evaluation more relevant
Develop measurements that emphasise your effectiveness, not your workload

Format

This full-day event will enable you to tackle the subject area in depth and find out how other charities are making a big impact. With a mixture of inspiring plenary slots and smaller group sessions, run by senior figures from the charity, corporate and public sectors, you’ll go back to the office full of ideas. These events give you the time and space to reflect on your organisation’s current practices. There are also opportunities to take part in speed networking with peers and break time advice surgeries with selected suppliers.
