and giving to charity: Developments and agendas in practice and
research
It is increasingly being recognised that nostalgia may be an
important factor for giving to certain kinds of charities, and for certain kinds
of donors. Professor Ford will lead a seminar, presenting his latest research in
this field, and its implications for fundraising practice. His work is
developing with his colleague at Old Dominion University, Altaf Merchant.
Professor Ford, who is President of the Academy of Marketing Science, is
Visiting Professor in Marketing at Cass, January –March 2009
