ell your stories in your own way and in your own words. Powerful podcasting is a hands-on workshop that will equip you with the skills to make the most of using audio as a communication tool. The workshop is delivered by professionals with extensive experience in working with audio.

During this course you will be taught the skills you need to collect stories, case studies and other relevant audio material, which you can use to create engaging podcasts to promote the work of your organisation. You will gain practical experience of audio editing, creating MP3 files, and sharing your podcast online. By the end of the workshop, you will have the knowledge and confidence to create your own podcast.

Key Learning Outcomes:

  • Understanding the different types of podcasts available and exploring which ones are best suited to your organisation.
  • Complete confidence in the use of recording equipment
  • Development of your interviewing techniques – how to make your interviewee comfortable, getting the best content from your interview etc
  • Editing your material using powerful, free editing software and preparing your podcast to share online.

Please note that this workshop required a reasonable level of IT literacy. Workshop handouts will provided.
