Level Two Open Workshops are designed for individuals who have either attended a SpeakersBank Level One workshop or individuals who are already relatively confident public speakers.

The Level Two workshop aims to build on the public speaking skills you already possess in order to develop and improve your skills and confidence.

In this workshop you will quickly learn to

  • Begin your speech before you begin speaking
  • Understand why nerves are normal and nerveless speaking possible
  • Decide on the objectives of your presentation or speech
  • Create powerful openings
  • Use facts to tell and stories to sell
  • Leave your audience with a clear message

During the day you will

  • Have at least four opportunities to speak
  • Speak with preparation and without
  • Receive verbal, written and group feedback
  • Gradually build your skill level throughout the day
  • Develop the skill of presenting without notes
  • Receive advice on specific techniques to suit your style

The workshop builds on your current public speaking ability and further develops your confidence and skills so that you can become a competent and assured speaker.
