Are you puzzled about staff contracts? What’s the difference in status between an employee, a worker and a consultant – what about volunteers?

Understand the documents you need in place at work, with this whistle-stop tour of staff contracts, agreements and handbooks.

This event is organised by NCVO's Employment Practice Network in partnership with Voscur.

HR consultants Cornhill HR will deliver this half-day seminar, which will outline the key features of staff contracts and agreements – and what they should and should not include.

The morning will cover:

  •  Staff contracts and agreements: when to use them and what the law says
  • The main kinds of contracts/agreements – and their essential features
  • The place of staff handbooks in relation to other employment documents.

The session will also give you opportunity to ask questions and apply your learning.

While the event is free to attend, preference is given to voluntary and community organisations and numbers are limited.
