Overview
Take away the fundamentals of getting a better strategic plan. Learn to create a team learning environment where all perspectives can be shared, all contributions maximised. You will work alongside other voluntary and community organisations and build a network of like minded practitioners to bounce ideas off and share examples of good practice.

- The fundamentals of strategic planning: why you need a strategy, the key components of a plan, getting a clear sense of purpose
- Engaging and involving the right people in the right way
- Getting to grips with the analysis required to produce a relevant, achievable and credible plan
- Evaluating options and weighing competing demand
- Different ways of presenting your strategy to engage, persuade and manage
- Integrating the strategy with day to day: getting implementation right
- Gathering learning from both the process and the practice to better manage performance
Learning outcomes
Strategic planning is the most effective way of ensuring you deliver your Mission and have greatest impact for beneficiaries, whilst facing up to challenging times with confidence. This workshop will help you craft a realistic and impactful strategic plan that will engage and align key stakeholders. You will build your own planning toolkit and emerge with concrete analysis that will kick start your strategic planning process.
