When operating a charitable organization, as a full time devotion.. how would you draw/generate personal income for yourself?

You didn't mention how your charity is structured.  If you are a registered charity with independent trustees then you could be a full-time employee of the charity and earn a salary, if the charity has powers to employ staff in its constitution and can afford it/ fundraise for it.
