Subject: Fund Raising Help

Good morning,

I was hoping someone may be able to give me some guidance on this...

I work for an organisation that has been running a project for the last two years and will finish at the end of this year if I cannot find additional funding.

The project works with the Ghurkha community in Kent, specifically the female members of Ghurkha families. The project supplies tutors that:

• Help the ladies integrate into the community
• Ensure that they are able to access services and support
• Integrate them into the 'way of life' in the UK by providing classes on how to access emergency services etc. (a man died recently because his wife did not know that she could phone an ambulance and it would be free)
• Provide language English language lessons
• Provide classes on C.V. writing and on how to get a job
• Provide access to training to further career opportunities

The annual operating budget is in excess of £150,000 per year to provide training for 200 women per year.

Would anyone have any ideas on where I may begin to start looking for funding to continue this project? I am fully committed to it and I have been incredibly impressed in the difference that the project has made to many of the families. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
