Hi
I have started using everyclick.com to raise money through web searches. This required only a small amount of time to set-up. We have been using this for about a year now, and have raised just over £60. Giving us a monthly income of £4-5 may not sound much, but for no real effort (other than searching) it is almost like being paid for what we do anyway.
Everyclick.com does have an online shopping facility, but we have not yet started using this. We have also looked into using eBay, Buy Once Give Twice, and other shopping/auction sites. But, we do not wish to become a trading company, so would have to rely on donations and gift in kind. As these are currently rare, this may not be practical at present. Although I would be interested in seeing how other organisations have used these.

Hi steve_s,
£60 as free money is good going! Do you recommend that others sign up to everyclick?
I was looking at TheGivingMachine today, you don't to trade in order to benefit from being on their list.

Thanks for talking about Everyclick! We're really glad the site is working for you and raising money for your charity for free.
steve_s, you're right, Everyclick does have a shopping facility where a portion of the cost of your shopping goes to charity.
You can also create a fundraising page so you can collect sponsorship easily online for your event or appeal. Not to mention be able to donate securely to any charity on the site, buy donation vouchers to send to friends and send greetings cards.
And the best thing? Unlike other similar websites, particularly those where you can create fundraising pages, Everyclick doesn't charge charities a penny to use the site.
Not to mention ALL registered UK charities can be supported through Everyclick - we have over 220,000 registered already, including schools and colleges, and those not already there can register for free.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask or pop along to www.everyclick.com 'contact us'.

With a small amount of promotion, i.e link on home page, e-shot. small article in newsletter and word of mouth Travel2Give could easily raise £200-£300 most months for a small charity.
Check out www.travel2give.org.uk for more info or even easier, ask me!
Thanks
Paul

Our site (www.magazine-group.co.uk) would like to start a fundraising scheme. We'd give back 15% of the sales value of any orders (up to a maximum of a tenner) using our affiliate network to make sure all orders were tracked. It wouldn't cost you anything and we'd be more than happy to supply links, banners, emaiils or any other images.
It's not something we've done before so it would be good to test the effort/reward for the charity and for us.
If any not-for-profit groups are interested in helping us trial this please email me (don[underscore]brown[at]threepm[dot]co[dot]uk)

Our charity signed up with TheGivingMachine shortly after it was set up. The real benefit is that any money raised become 'unrestricted funding' and can be spent how we like. We've raised about £400 so far.
We still have a long way to go, but we try to encourage exiting givers to persuade at least one of their friends to try. The challenge is to ensure supporters log on to the website each and every time they shop on-line. It then becomes a habit , they give to a local charity without additional cost and we continue to benefit.
The TheGivingMachine site is clear and easy to use - but for me the most important thing is that they're transparent about the percentages of purchase price the retailers are offering.

I run a small Allotment Association in south London. We have a very mixed bunch of members, less than 50% have email and even less have regular use of a PC.
We signed up with everyclick about two years ago and have raised £270 with nothing but a short paragraph and link on our homepage.
Easy money - I would receommend all charities add it to their website and put occassional email footer/tweet/facebook posts to encourage donors to use it.

For those who have found success with Everyclick already - thanks for using our services! Everyclick has an incredibly exciting new release due out imminently which should make it possible to raise even more money for your charity. If you go along to the site now you'll see that our search provider has already changed.
We have a whole new way to raise money as you go about everyday business on the web. Not only will you be able to search and shop (as now), but you can raise money using eBay too. There are more changes and a new look for the site too!
We've also made it easier for charities to manage their listings by introducing an admin system.
Keep an eye on www.everyclick.com - exciting things are happening very soon!
