I am in the process of setting up a community cafe in Haringey. The project will involve all the usable surplus food being collected from local supermarkets and restaurants 3 times a week. This food will then be transported to a local community kitchen, where young volunteers from the community will cook it into a nutritious meals for people at risk of food poverty. I would like to find out about what funding I could apply for. Thanks!

You can search for your local access point to GrantNet

and register for free. It gives you access to a huge database of potential donors.

Try NCVO's Funding Central too.

CrouchEnd, do let us know how you got on with setting this up.
