Michael Norton founded the Directory of Social Change in 1975, and ran it for its first 20 years. He ran and organised fundraising training courses and conferences, and wrote, edited and published a wide range of books and other materials on fundraising. Since 1995 he has been turning good ideas into successful projects and organisations. He founded or co-founded Changemakers, YouthBank UK, UnLtd: the foundation for social entrepreneurs and UnLtd India.
