Daleep Mukarji, Chief Executive of Christian Aid and Sue Douthwaite, Course Leader, MSc Marketing and Fundraising at Cass Business School talk about nationally led, locally focussed fundraising.

Christian Aid is one of the largest charities in the country. It is a market leader in focussed relationship building with its locally based affinity groups mobilising 300,000 volunteers. Dr Daleep Mukarji, Chief Executive described how they do this. He talked about the highly successful vehicle of Christian Aid Week which integrates fundraising, campaigning and public education.

Sue Douthwaite commented on the Christian Aid example and put it into a wider contex. Sue is a Senior Lecturer and Academic Leader of Cass Business School's MSc in Marketing and Fundraising and a member of its Centre for Charity Effectiveness
