I'd be interested in how/if there's any lack of support/training resources for smaller third sector organisations. I work for a large charity, which is reasonably geared up for tendering, but would welcome the opportunity to do some volunteering and provide support/guidance to smaller organisations.
What would be the best way to organise this?
Do smaller voluntary organisations need this sort of support?

Hi Harold,
in terms of seeing what's out there, I have just spotted this from NAVCA which might be worth you looking at - tender support project.
If you are still available Harold we are a small organisation that will be getting launched into the tendering arena in the not too distant future so all help would be gratefully received. As we are in Scotland we can't access the NAVCA support and it's all more than a little daunting; if we are unsuccessful that's the end of us. Don't worry, not expecting you to provide face to face support, unless...
As a wee addition, the Operational Research Society set up a working group for the Third Sector a couple of years back and are/were/may be again looking for partners. Any sized organisation considered, I believe. Drop them a line for more information. They're particularly good on M&E, strategy etc.
