About our new look and promotional materials.

by WEditor last modified Oct 26, 2011 04:10 PM

You may have noticed that we're changing the way we present ourselves. We've changed our Twitter background, conference materials and will soon be updating the site with our new look.

Here is a bit about how KnowHow is helping civil society flourish.

Flourish

FLOURISH

Forward-thinking online support - KnowHow provides new ways for civil society to learn and develop. Our online services make it cheaper and easier for everyone in the non profit sector to develop themselves and their organisations.

List your news jobs and events - all registered users can upload their news and events on the site. We also have a jobs board (coming soon) where registered users can advertise jobs in their organisations. Sign up and start sharing your information with the non profit sector.

Online training - KnowHow's 'study zone' provides e-learning support for the non profit sector. From 30-minute video tutorials to accredited courses, you'll find something that's right for you. If not, just request the training you need. We'll turn our top requests into online training.

Unique multimedia - KnowHow brings you the big names and the big issues in regular audio and video feautures on civil society. Whether it's Richard Branson on major donor giving or the Minister for Civil Society on policy changes, we capture the voices you need to hear.

Research library - KnowHow is at the heart of academic research into the non profit sector. We're part of Cass Business School's Centre for Charity Effectiveness. Our library contains in-depth case studies and guidance from leading academics and practitioners in the sector.

Intros from experts - KnowHow works with the non profit sector's leading consultants to produce introductory guidance on all aspects of setting up and managing a non profit organisation. Start your non profit education here.

Shared knowledge - KnowHow helps non profit people share their knowledge with each other. Use our discussion forums to ask a question or help someone in need. Regsiter for free and publish your knowledge straight onto the site in our specially designed user content area.

High drama - Learning should be fun - and if you haven't already found something to inspire you, try Millcaster Tales. Our animated podcast explores real-world charity issues in the fictitious world of Millcaster. Watch the drama unfold and contribute to the discussions.
