Help us to make this site better. What do you think of the design, content, discussions, way the site is organised? Will you visit the site again? Will you recommend it to others?

Please share your feedback about using the site here or email us at knowhow@city.ac.uk

We look forward to hearing your views - good and bad!

We also would love to hear from you if you would like to contribute to the site or have ideas about topics we should cover.

I like what I see so far, nice clean site design. We're running a similar project. Why not have a peek:

I'm excited by the discussions and the potential they have to really take off.  I'm mostly interested in how KHNP is able to coalese the conversations taking place over the 30+ sections and bring focus for people coming for the first time so they can dive it to the heart of things.  I'll continue thinking about specific ways to do this and will share them here for feedback.

KnowHow has existed for a year although we didn't officially launch until April 09. How are we doing?

  • What do you like / not like about the site?
  • What should we do more or less of?
  • Are there too many links / not enough?
  • Is the content useful?
  • Do you like Millcaster Tales?
  • What do you think of the advertising?
  • Do you like the design?

Please share your feedback here so we can make KnowHow even better!

Just to say I have only just heard about this site and I think it's a great idea. I am a charity specialist accountant, Independent Examiner and auditor (working independently from home to try and keep overheads down and be affordable for charities!) and have found that my clients really need a user-frendly site like this. Of course, I help them as much as I can, but a resource they can use themselves is much needed. The Charity Commission site is extremely good and very comprehensive, but a little off-putting for smaller charities particularly. I think it might be a mistake to put too much content on this site as it may detract from its accessability. The fictional case study idea is a really good one. I will have a think as I may have some cautionary tales to include in one! The feel of the site is friendly and informal, which would appeal to the charity clients I know. I shall be recommending all my charity clients to register! Something I would dearly love to get is some funding to help charities afford their accounting/examination/auditing obligations as funders are increasingly reluctant to award for this, despite encouraging organisations to obtain charitable status. Any thoughts on this?
