Hi Everyone, I have a question on raising funds.
Can a non-profit organisation that is not yet registered as a charity with the charity commission organise fund raising in public or online?

I am a founder of a non-profit organisation and all our works presently are funded from my own pocket. Please I need your advise.

In theory, yes, but don't expect to get any significant results because donors are suspicious of giving to organisations that are not protected by charity law. I would want to ask why you are not registered? Maybe not enough turnover yet? No problem, but if you are serious about making a difference as a non-profit the way forward is to register.
