About Jim
Jim is a former lawyer who made a career move into the voluntary sector when he moved out of London.
He is thoughtful and a good listener and is good at bringing people together but lacks confidence in some areas. He finds the charity sector so much less structured than the legal world – and to his surprise much more complex than he had expected.

Jim met Siobhan, General Manager of Focus on the Child at a networking event in 2008. They chat by phone regularly and occasionally meet up for an after-work drink. He finds Siobhan really helpful as she knows so many people in the local area.
