Profile of this fictional charity in Millcaster

Mill Cat Trust (MCT) is a rescue centre started approximately 30 years ago by local cat lovers wanting to reduce the number of stray and abandoned cats. The organisation has received several quite substantial legacies, mostly from older, local women who were cat lovers. The Trust also relies on voluntary donations and re-homing fees for income but legacies provide the largest element.

The Trust takes in abandoned and rescued cats but will also take in other small animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters etc.)  These provide some attractive photo opportunities for fundraising material.

MCT also undertakes outreach work in the community as lack of space means they have limited capacity to house more animals.
