About Jason
Jason was grammar school boy from Millcaster and a star student on his Theatre Director’s course at university. He is a high achiever, charismatic and ambitious. He was an Assistant Director for three years at a large theatre in London after graduating and went freelance shortly afterwards. His work took him all over South Asia where he developed a love for non-western theatre. He is used to working on shoe-string budget with large casts and the support of a sizeable team.
Jason is a man of action and doesn’t have too much time for the administrative side of his post. He sees this role as Artistic Director at MillcARTS as an opportunity to have some time out before setting up his own theatre company.
He has returned to Millcaster to be nearer his ageing parents and has recently broken up with his long term girlfriend who turned his proposal of marriage down saying that he was too restless.
