Caroline is an experienced consultant and Senior Visiting Fellow at Cass Business School’s Centre for Charity Effectiveness, with particular interest in strategy, organisation development and leadership. Over 14 years as a consultant, Caroline is also the Centre’s head of practice for Leadership and Management Development. She has taught on the Cass MSc in Voluntary Sector Management for the past 12 years.
Caroline has been involved in a wide range of strategy and change facilitation exercises, with boards, staff groups and executives and is part of a number of Cass CCE management development programmes for nonprofits. She runs the Cass CCE short course on Strategic Management, and leads the ‘Leading Strategic Change’ workshop on the acevo programme for new Chief Executives. Caroline is also part of the team delivering the CapacityBuilders ‘Improving Support’ programmes ‘Responding to Social Change’ and the ‘National Performance Programme’.
Caroline was the lead author for the NCVO publication ‘Tools for Tomorrow’ (2004) the best selling guide to strategy development and implementation for the voluntary and community sector, a NCVO guide called ‘Picture This’ on scenario planning (2006) and co-author of ‘Looking Out’ (2007) a guide to strategic analysis for the sector, published by the Performance Hub. She is also part of the team that produced‘Tools for Success’ published by Cass CCE in November 2008. She has an MBA from Henley Management College.
