Hi there.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE VOLUNTEERS TO AFRICA! This program is called Development Instructors program. For one year you are studying and working in Denmark, in the school. Then you are going to the project in Africa and working there. After eight months you are back to Denmark for four months – finishing your studies & getting Double B–certificate in pedagogy and fighting with the poor.
This is the way how you will get a lot, A LOT of experience in different ares! You will be prepared in the readiness. But, first of all, you will HELP others!!! That makes sense.
If you are interested in, please, e-mail me: el.berzina@gmail.com

I'd
just urge those interested in overseas positions to check the background of
organisations offering volunteering positions.
Always be wary of Voluntourism organisations (those that ask you to pay to go).
Whereas they're not all rogues, there are some bad apples out there. Schemes
built on the free labour of well-meaning volunteers investing in projects that haven't
been requested by, and do not benefit, local communities. Being asked to pay to
deliver expert skills or advice is often a sign to dig a little deeper.
There are some excellent organisations, such as Accounting for International Development,
very much above-board and making a lasting impact. But do check out your choice. If
you're looking to volunteer your skills overseas, go with a reputable
organisation such as Voluntary Services
Overseas (VSO). Make absolutely certain that there's a decent medical, evacuation
and repatriation package included.
Brilliant Guardian article here: Before you pay to volunteer abroad, think of the harm you might do
Hey, Luke,
we have FB page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Make-a-Difference/246836248660220
There is more info about the 2-years course, and about us, as well!
And, ConsultantMGW, thank you for replying. I totally agree with that. We have to be sure that volunteer organisation we are applying for, is REAL.
