Part one: The 'what' and 'why' of organisational values

Simply put, values are the way you go about things in the organisation. Find out what they can do for your staff and how they can help deliver your organisation’s mission.

Part two: Building or refreshing organisational values

You'll learn how to:

  • engage staff in discussing and making sense of values
  • use the right language to express values
  • come up with a strapline for your values.

  • identify opportunities to communicate values
  • reflect values in recruitment, induction, customer engagement, etc.

About your trainer, Ian Lawson

Ian Lawson is an associate consultant at the Centre for Charity Effectiveness at Cass Business School. Previously he was at The Work Foundation/Industrial Society where he headed up the organisation`s work on "Developing leadership within the world of work". He is experienced in designing and delivering programmes, sessions, presentations and is a team and executive coach. Ian has written four books and is a board member at the British Army Staff Leadership School.
