1. Can I watch the videos more than once after purchase?

Yes, as many times as you like. Once you’ve purchased them you can log in to watch them in StudyZone at any time, as often as you want. Subscribers to StudyPass have unlimited access to ALL the videos available in StudyZone for the duration of their subscription.

2. Is there a time limit to how long I can access the training videos?

There is no time limit for individual purchases. The courses will always stay in our e-learning library. StudyPass subscribers have access to all courses but only for the duration of their subscription.

3. Can I pause the training and come back to it later?

Definitely! You simply click on the ‘play’ button to pause the video and then ‘play’ again to resume when you’re ready. If you close your browser, the video will restart at the beginning, but you can find the exact point where you left off, just move the timeline bar at the foot of the video with your mouse.

4. Do I have to pay every time I watch a course?

You only pay once to purchase the course and you can watch it as many times as you like from thereon. StudyPass subscribers pay a regular subscription fee and then have access to all our courses until their subscription runs out.

5. How do I pay for an individual purchase or a subscription?

You pay by debit/credit card as you would for any online purchase. We use SagePay, which is considered one of the safest and most secure online payment systems available.

6. If I’m a StudyPass subscriber how do I cancel my subscription?

To cancel your subscription you need to log in to the site and visit your personal profile (click on the link at the top of any page when you're logged in). Click 'manage' next to your subscription in the middle column and you can control everything from there.

Once you cancel, you will still be able to watch all the courses until the date your subscription runs out. If you change your mind before this date, you can reactivate your subscription by logging in to the site and changing your subscription details via your personal profile.

7. I have problems accessing my subscription. What can I do?

Email us at studyzone@knowhownonprofit.org. We guarantee to respond within 2 working days.

8. How do I access the videos once I have made a purchase?

If you have made an individual purchase, the videos will always be available to you online in StudyZone. All you need to do is log in with the username you used to make your purchase and click on the course. You’ll be able to watch all the purchased videos and download the accompanying resources. You can also view all your purchases on your personal profile (click on the link at the top of any page when you're logged in).

9. How do I access the videos if I have a StudyPass subscription? 

Log in with the username (and password) you have used to purchase the StudyPass and click on any course in the StudyZone that you want to watch.

10. Can I get in contact with the trainer?

You can ask our trainers questions about the course or get them to explain something via our bespoke discussion forums. We have created a forum for each course so simply click on ‘Discussions’ at the top of the StudyZone homepage and choose the relevant course title. You can also create your own discussion thread in that forum by clicking on ‘Start a new topic’.

If you'd like to contact the trainer for further consultancy services, we have provided their e-mail addresses on the page of their training course. Trainers offer free telephone consultations only to subscribers, not to purchasers of individual courses. Find out more about charity checkup phone consultations.

11. If I buy a course am I the only person who can watch it or can I share it with the rest of my organisation?

As the purchaser of the video, it is only available to you via your log in details – username and password. As with any secure information, it’s not advisable to share your username and password. If you have any concerns about this, please read our terms and conditions for online purchases.

If you want to share the videos with your team we recommend our StudyPass organisational subscription service, which will allow everyone to access the videos as themselves. Choose the subscription that is right for the size of your organisation and share the videos with your entire team.

12. Do I need to be online to watch the training?

Yes, you do. Our courses can be watched from anywhere and at any time as long as you have an internet connection. You can, however, download the further resources that accompany each course and read them off line.

We are looking into offering DVDs of our training courses and we’ll keep you posted on this.

13. Can I access the courses on my smart phone or iPad?

Absolutely. Make sure you have a 3G connection, though.

14. Do you develop training videos on demand?

Absolutely. The way StudyZone works is that any user (regardless of whether they are StudyPass subscribers or not) can request a video training course via our 'Suggest training' facility. After you’ve requested a course, get everyone you know to vote for it. We take the top requests and develop them into courses so the more votes a request gets, the better the chances we'll turn it into a full training course.

15. Can you develop a bespoke course for my organisation?

We certainly can. Whether you want an induction course for your employees or volunteers, or simply a more attractive way of disseminating information to your stakeholders, we can work with you to develop screencasts that suit your needs. We would be using the same technology that we use to develop our training courses. Contact us at studyzone@knowhownonprofit.org.

16. I am not happy with the training product I've received.
