KnowHowNonProfit.org has been out a bit this week and something which keeps cropping up is the question of what should we call our sector?
NCVO's Stuart Etherington favours the Civil Society, ACEVO seem to favour the term Third Sector, we at KnowHow use the term Nonprofit. Other terms referenced are the Charity Sector and the Voluntary Services Sector.
With different interpretations of our name are we running the risk of not effectively being able to communicate the impact of our work to the wider community?
What do you our users think our sector should be called?
