We are a charity website still in development and you could really help by telling us what you think of the site. Once you have had a chance to see the site, would you take part in a very short, confidential survey? You just have to click Launch Survey (it will open in a new window). Thank you very much.

A thread to group useful information on how charities use new media. Charity web forum - yahoo forum for uk charity new media people
I am a member of this group hosted in Yahoo! Groups and I would add a caveat here that the questions and conversations taking place on the list are not necessarily focused on groups using New Media tools. It is a very general group designed for managers of charity websites.
Beth Kanter's blog, 'How Nonprofits can use Social Media' is a great resource
You might be interested in the Social Media Exchange event organised by SoundDelivery on 26 January as a great opportunity to meet other people interested in social media and all things web in the nonprofit world. Book your tickets now!
The date for the next NFPtweetup will also be announced very soon. It will be sometime in February and details will be published here, on the wiki. (If you sign-up at the wiki, you will be able to get an email whenever the wiki is updated with any new information)
This is a free event for anyone working at a charity or nonprofit organisation who wants to explore using Twitter, meet other people who are using it, share learnings, ask questions, get practical advice, understand how to integrate it with other channels, and use it to reach out to supporters, influencers and stakeholders to achieve corporate objectives.
I would also recommend:
Or, if you are in London, come to the next London Net Tuesday - If you aren't in London, you can see other Net Tuesday locations here.
The Social Media Exchange website is now live ready for tomorrow's event. Looks like it is going to be an exciting day full of lots of good stuff!
If you are interested in learning more about Twitter, and exploring how using it can benefit your nonprofit organisation, either come along to NFPtweetup on 25 February or take part online.
The event will be held at Christian Aid's Head Office, near Waterloo, from 5.30 - 8.00pm.
More details can be found at the wiki, where you can sign-up if you want to attend or to indicate you will follow the event and/ or take part online.
